A Letsignit alternative is worth considering if you like the idea of signatures that deploy themselves from your directory but your team mostly needs one consistent design, not campaigns and wallet cards. Letsignit is a broad employee-brand platform that lists signatures, digital business cards and slides. emailfooter, which we make, is a free plugin that does one narrower job: a shared signature design that each person installs themselves.
We make emailfooter, so this Letsignit alternative comparison is written by one of the two parties. Each Letsignit fact comes from its own website and pricing page, read in October 2026. Prices change by currency, so check the page for the figure you would pay.
Letsignit alternative: the short version
- Pick Letsignit if you want signatures deployed to every employee automatically from Microsoft Entra ID or Google Workspace, with campaigns, A/B testing and analytics.
- Pick a free Letsignit alternative such as emailfooter if everyone installing their own signature is acceptable and you want no per-user fee.
- Price check: Letsignit’s pricing page showed $2 per user per month for signatures and vCards, and $3.20 for Platform, on annual subscriptions in October 2026.
What Letsignit offers, from its own pages
Letsignit’s home page describes an employee brand platform, with email signatures and campaigns, digital business cards (vCards) and PowerPoint slides under one roof. It says it syncs employee data from directories such as Microsoft Entra ID and Google Workspace, and deploys branded templates automatically.
The pricing page fills in the detail. Its signatures plan lists centralised signature management, targeted campaigns with A/B testing and dynamic polls, compatibility with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace and CRMs, digital business cards for Apple and Android wallets, native analytics, and a dedicated customer success and support team. Its feature table also lists:
- A drag and drop designer and HTML import, with unlimited customisable templates.
- Internal and external versions, and separate signatures for replies and forwards.
- Shared and delegated mailbox management, plus roles and permissions.
- Directory sync from Microsoft Entra ID, Google Directory, on-premise Active Directory, CSV import and a multi-source API.
- Automatic deployment through an add-in with no user action.
- Compatibility with Microsoft 365, Gmail, Apple Mail, Outlook online, Exchange and mobile apps.
The FAQ states that users do not need to install or configure anything, and that they can preview their signature and, depending on company rules, adapt it within approved templates. Letsignit says the platform is available in English, French and Spanish, and the add-in in seven languages.
Some things the page labels as upcoming. Within its analytics section several items carry an “Upcoming” tag, so ask which analytics exist today rather than assuming.
Letsignit pricing, read in October 2026
The page has a currency selector for USD, CAD, EUR and GBP. We read it in US dollars:
| Plan | Listed price | What the card lists |
|---|---|---|
| Email signatures and vCards | $2 per user per month | Signatures, campaigns, vCards, analytics, customer success team |
| Slides | $2 per user per month | Centralised PowerPoint management, brand enforcement, asset library |
| Platform | $3.20 per user per month (shown beside a struck-through $4) | Signatures, vCards, campaigns and presentations on one platform |
| Enterprise | Contact us | Multi-directory sync including SCIM, tailored deployment, dedicated project team, premium support |
The FAQ says plans are annual subscriptions, and users added mid-term are billed pro rata. All plans include customer success onboarding. There is a free trial button on the signatures plan, but we did not find the trial length stated, and we did not find a minimum number of users. The page says special pricing may apply to non-profits.
Here is what that means at three team sizes. This is our arithmetic on the listed prices, not figures from the page, and it ignores tax and any volume terms the page does not show:
| Team size | Signatures and vCards | Platform |
|---|---|---|
| 25 people | $50 a month | $80 a month |
| 50 people | $100 a month | $160 a month |
| 100 people | $200 a month | $320 a month |
Letsignit also publishes its own figures about itself, such as 6,000+ companies, 2.2+ million users and ISO 27001 and 27018 certification, along with a statement of 100 percent EU hosting. Those are its claims, and we have not checked them.
Is emailfooter a good Letsignit alternative?
emailfooter is open-source (GPL) software by Ulrea, delivered as a WordPress plugin. The admin picks one of ten layouts, chooses among 24 colour themes, and attaches a logo plus, if wanted, a legal footer. Invited staff change only their own details and then follow the steps written for their mail app, of which there are 16.
As a Letsignit alternative it is much smaller. It does not read your directory, does not deploy through an add-in, and has no campaigns, vCards or click analytics. Its dashboard breaks copies and install starts down by day, mail app and person. For anyone who would rather not host, emailfooter Managed is our hosted version of the same software, with pricing on request.

Invented example: a boxed layout with a locked legal footer, produced by the emailfooter engine.

Where Letsignit is the better choice
Skip the Letsignit alternative and stay with Letsignit, or move to it, if one of these sounds like you:
- Mail must carry the signature, always. Automatic deployment does not depend on each person remembering.
- Your directory changes often. Sync keeps titles and departments current without a reminder email.
- Marketing wants the signature. Campaigns, A/B testing and UTM tracking are core to the product.
- You have subsidiaries or several brands. The page lists multi-entity management, roles and an Enterprise tier built for governance.
- You want business cards too. vCards in Apple and Google wallets are part of the offer.
- You want a vendor. Customer success onboarding, local support hours and certifications are things a self-hosted plugin cannot provide.
Where emailfooter is the better Letsignit alternative
- Cost. A team of 100 pays no per-user fee. Your cost is your own hosting, not the $200 to $320 a month in the table above.
- A small job done plainly. If you want logo, colours and a legal line to match, a locked shared design does that.
- Data stays on your site. Staff details sit in your WordPress database.
- No add-in to approve. Nothing to grant in Microsoft 365 or Google admin.
- Agencies. Switch on Agency mode to hold many client companies in one install, under your own branding.
The price of being free is legwork. A redesign reaches nobody until each person installs it. The dashboard shows who has copied or started installing, but it cannot do the pasting for them.
Six questions to ask before you choose a Letsignit alternative
- Which plan has the features I need? The feature table does not show plan by plan in text, so ask which tier includes shared mailbox management and each analytics item.
- What is the minimum number of users? We did not find one stated.
- How long is the trial, and what can I deploy during it? The page offers a free trial without a length.
- Which currency will I be billed in? The prices differ by selector, and we saw no mention of tax.
- Do I need campaigns? If you will never run a banner, you are paying for a product you will not use. Our page on signature marketing campaigns explains what they involve.
- Will everyone accept installing their own? If yes, emailfooter may be enough. If no, look at tools that deploy, such as those in our guide to software for teams.
If you want to see how a similar vendor compares, read our Exclaimer alternative article, and for what directory sync actually does, see email signature directory sync.
A Letsignit alternative earns its place when your needs are simple and your team can follow steps. Otherwise Letsignit’s price buys a good deal of work you would otherwise do by hand.

Does Letsignit work with Google Workspace?
Its pricing page lists Google Workspace compatibility and Google Directory sync, and Gmail among the supported mail clients.
Is emailfooter a Letsignit alternative with directory sync?
