Oil & Gas / Energy
Every email your field teams send is a compliance and credibility risk.
Upstream, midstream, downstream and renewables: your people work across sites, time zones and, after every deal, brands. emailfooter keeps what they send consistent.
The problem
Signature chaos is what happens after every acquisition
Energy companies run on field staff, contractors, engineers and corporate teams, often spread across multiple sites, time zones and even several email domains after a merger. IT inherits the mess: employees with the logo of a company acquired two years ago, job titles that no longer exist, and no safety or legal wording where policy says it must appear.
When a single email might reach a regulator, a landowner, an investor or a safety auditor, an inconsistent or outdated signature is more than cosmetic. It is a credibility problem, and for some messages a policy problem.
What it costs you
The gaps show up at the worst moment
The permitting officer opens an email from your compliance lead, and the signature still shows a subsidiary that was folded into the parent brand 18 months ago.
The field supervisor sends a job update without the safety hotline line legal wanted on every external email, because nobody told the contractor crew.
The audit asks to see what every employee’s signature says today, and the honest answer is “not without weeks of chasing.”
Multiply that across thousands of people, dozens of sites and an org chart that changes with every deal, and signatures become a standing problem no one owns.
How emailfooter fixes it
One place to set the look and the wording
emailfooter gives communications and IT one dashboard for the design, the phone rules and the legal footer, while each person only fills in their own details.
A legal footer on every signature
Add your safety, regulatory or confidentiality wording once. It appears under every employee’s signature and they can’t remove it.
Rebrand in minutes
Change the logo, colours or layout once. Each person copies the refreshed signature again, and the old logo stops circulating.
A workspace per subsidiary
Run separate company accounts for brands that must stay separate, all from one platform login.
Company phone only, if you prefer
Lock the phone rule so field staff show the company line and never a personal mobile number.
Contractors included
Invite contractors with the same one-time links. They get your design without a mail-system account.
See who has installed it
The dashboard counts copies and installs by person and mail app, so you know where you stand.

FAQ
Common questions
Does emailfooter make us compliant?
It makes it easy to apply your own wording consistently. Your legal and safety teams decide what the wording says; emailfooter puts it in every signature.
We have several subsidiaries and brands. Can we keep them apart?
Yes. Each brand can be its own company account with its own design, admins and employees, managed from one platform.
What about people on shared terminals or mobile?
Employees install in their own mail app, including Gmail, Outlook and Apple Mail on mobile. Where an app only accepts plain text, we provide the plain-text version.
