WiseStamp pricing: what is free and what you pay for

WiseStamp pricing from its own page in October 2026: five plans from $9 a month, per-employee fees, the 14-day trial and a cost table for 10, 25 and 100 people.

WiseStamp pricing starts at $9 a month for one person or a very small team and climbs to $189 a month plus a per-employee fee for large ones, according to the plan cards on its pricing page in October 2026. That page lists no permanent free plan, only a 14-day trial. WiseStamp also runs a free signature generator, which you reach by signing in. Below you get every plan in one table, a worked monthly cost for 10, 25 and 100 people, and the spots where the page leaves a question open.

We make emailfooter, so we have also set WiseStamp’s numbers beside ours. Each WiseStamp fact here was read from WiseStamp’s own pages in October 2026. Prices change, so treat this WiseStamp pricing as a dated snapshot and confirm it before you pay.

WiseStamp pricing in brief

  • The pricing page shows five plans: Pro+ at $9 a month, Basic at $19, Grow at $49, Platform at $189 and Enterprise at a custom price. The listed prices are billed annually.
  • Basic, Grow and Platform each add $1 a month per employee. Pro+ lets you add up to 10 team members at $2 a month each.
  • Free access means a 14-day trial of any plan with no credit card, and a 14-day money-back guarantee.
  • emailfooter’s plugin has no price, though hosting, a domain and email delivery are yours to cover.

WiseStamp pricing at a glance

This is what the WiseStamp pricing page showed in October 2026. The figures carry a dollar sign and the page does not name a currency. We found no region or currency selector on it.

PlanPrice on the pagePer-person feeLimits listedWhat the page lists

In its feature comparison the page lists signature deployment as client side on Basic and Grow, and as client and server sides on Platform and Enterprise. If signatures must appear on mail sent from phones too, ask WiseStamp what client side deployment covers on the plan you are eyeing. The page does not spell it out.

What WiseStamp pricing costs at 10, 25 and 100 people

WiseStamp pricing on the business plans is a base amount plus a fee for each employee. The arithmetic below simply adds those two numbers. It is our own sum rather than a number printed on the page, and it leaves out tax.

EmployeesBasicGrowPlatform
10$29 a month$59 a month$199 a month
25$44 a month$74 a month$214 a month
100$119 a month$149 a month$289 a month

Because the plans are billed annually, 25 people on Basic would work out at $44 a month, or $528 for the year, if the wording means what it appears to mean. Confirm that at checkout.

Pro+ is the odd one out. For five people, the $9 plus four extra members at $2 each comes to $17 a month. The page does not say whether the 10-member limit counts you, so check before you plan around the edge of it.

Above the plan cards sits a slider for the number of employees. We moved it to 200 and the headline prices did not change. The per-employee line is what grows with your headcount, not the base prices.

Is WiseStamp free? The trial, the generator and the guarantee

The pricing page has its own answer to the question “is WiseStamp free”. It says there is a 14-day free trial for all plans, no credit card is needed, and the trial ends by itself after 14 days with no charge. There is also a 14-day money-back guarantee, and the plan renews automatically unless you cancel.

Separately, WiseStamp’s signature generator page is headed as a free generator, with a Create free signature button next to Try WiseStamp Pro+. Its steps start with signing in using a Google, Microsoft or email account. For Gmail it describes installing the WiseStamp Chrome extension, and for Outlook it offers the WiseStamp desktop app or copying and pasting the signature.

What the free route includes, and what it leaves for paid plans, is not listed on that page. If a banner, a team feature or a particular template matters to you, test it before you rely on it. So the honest short answer to “is WiseStamp free” is: you can try it for free, and you can start a signature for free, but the plans you would run a company on are paid.

Small print on the WiseStamp pricing page

A few things worth knowing before you click Get started:

  • Annual billing. Every priced plan says billed annually. We saw no monthly-billing option on the page.
  • Auto-renewal. The FAQ says plans renew automatically. You can cancel auto-renewal, and WiseStamp says your account details stay stored so you can come back later.
  • Custom plans. Anything beyond the listed plans goes through its sales team.
  • Tax. We saw no mention of tax on the page, so assume the totals above are before it.
  • Entry price. The note above the cards for individuals says “Pro+ starting at $9 / mo”, so $9 is the lowest WiseStamp pricing on the page, not what a team pays.

Where WiseStamp is the better choice

A fair look at WiseStamp pricing has to say what the money buys. If any of these describe you, the fee buys something a free plugin does not do:

  • Signatures installed for staff. Basic and above list auto-install through Google Workspace and Microsoft 365. In emailfooter each person does their own.
  • Details that stay current. The auto-sync of employee details means a new job title reaches the signature without anyone editing it.
  • Marketing. Grow lists campaigns and analytics. emailfooter has neither.
  • Governance. Platform lists single sign-on and roles. Enterprise lists an audit log and an uptime SLA.
  • No site to run. WiseStamp is a hosted service, so there is nothing to patch or back up.

How emailfooter’s pricing compares with WiseStamp pricing

emailfooter, from Ulrea, is GPL software that installs as a WordPress plugin. Its readme and our pricing page agree on the money side: nothing is sold inside the plugin, there are no licence keys, and nothing caps how many companies or people you add. Running it is another matter, since hosting, a domain and email delivery for invitations are yours to pay for.

Do you want no site of your own? emailfooter Managed puts the same software on our servers. We quote its price on request, and our pricing page promises figures once they are final, so there is no number to give you here.

Know the limits too. Staff install their own signature, following numbered steps for their mail app, so nothing is pushed into mailboxes and no directory is synced. The dashboard reports copies and install starts, not clicks, and it speaks English only at present. To see what an admin designs once and everyone installs, here is a layout drawn by the engine:

How to choose between WiseStamp pricing and a free plugin

Ask these in order:

  1. Do you need signatures placed in mailboxes for people? If yes, you are shopping for a paid, hosted tool, and the WiseStamp pricing table above shows roughly what Basic or Grow costs at your headcount.
  2. Will marketing want banners or click counts? Grow is the first plan to list them.
  3. Can each person paste a signature once? If yes, a free plugin may be enough, and you skip the per-employee fee.
  4. Can you run a WordPress site, or pay someone to? If not, ask about Managed or stay with a hosted tool.

For a wider look at what other vendors charge, see our guide to email signature software pricing. Two other pages weigh WiseStamp directly: the WiseStamp alternative comparison and WiseStamp against NewOldStamp. If your main aim is to pay nothing, start with the best free email signature generators.

WiseStamp pricing is easy to read once you separate the base fee from the per-employee fee, and the cost for a given team is only a sum. What matters more is whether you need the automation that sum buys. If you do, that is a fair price for the work it removes. If you do not, the free route is worth an afternoon.
