The LogoAI email signature generator is a free tool on logoai.com that turns a photo or logo and a few contact details into a signature you can copy or download as HTML. LogoAI is mainly a logo maker, so the signature page is a side tool, and it makes sense to judge it as one: quick for a single person, not built for a whole company.
We make emailfooter, a competing product, so read this review as coming from one side. We opened the generator page and the pricing page on 5 October 2026, and every statement about LogoAI below comes from those two pages. We did not run a signature through the tool, so we say nothing about how its output looks in your mail app.
LogoAI email signature generator: the short version
- What it is: a free generator on the LogoAI site. LogoAI says you can create a signature in 3 seconds, “completely free”.
- What you feed it: a photo or logo (PNG, JPG or WEBP), a style, then name, job title, company, email, phone, website and up to three social links.
- What you get: two buttons, Copy Signature and Download HTML.
- Not on the page: team features, a legal footer field, install steps for mail apps, or where your uploaded image is stored.
- Fit: one person who wants a tidy signature today. Companies need something with shared control.
What the LogoAI email signature generator does
The generator page shows three numbered steps. These steps follow LogoAI’s generator page, read in October 2026.
- Upload your photo or logo. PNG, JPG and WEBP are listed.
- Choose a style. A set of designs is shown under the name “Accent”, each with a slightly different arrangement of name, role, company and contact lines.
- Add your details. The fields are name, job title, company, email, phone and website, plus social links, with a limit of three.
Under the steps there is a preview built as a short sample email to a made-up recipient, so you see the signature where it will sit at the bottom of a message. The preview looks like a Gmail-style message. The two actions beneath it are Copy Signature and Download HTML.
That is the whole flow as the page describes it. It is short on purpose, and for a founder who has ten minutes it is a reasonable shape for a tool.
What the page does not say
Gaps on the LogoAI email signature generator page are not the same as missing features. Treat this list as questions to answer by testing, not as faults.
- Whether you need an account. There is a Sign in link at the top of the page, but it does not say whether you must sign in to copy or download.
- Where your image lives. Some generators embed the image, others link to a copy on their own server. LogoAI does not say which this one does. It matters, because a linked image can stop loading if the host removes it, and some mail apps treat images oddly. Our guide to an email signature image showing as an attachment explains the symptoms.
- A disclaimer or address field. The field list above has neither.
- Install steps. Nothing walks you through pasting into Gmail, Outlook or Apple Mail.
- Anything for teams. There is no mention of sharing one design with colleagues, locking fields, or updating many signatures at once.
- Dark mode. Nothing on the page says how the signature behaves when a recipient uses dark mode.
How to test the LogoAI email signature generator in ten minutes
If you want to know whether the LogoAI email signature generator is good enough for you, test it with your real logo, not a placeholder. This is a checklist we wrote ourselves, not a LogoAI procedure.
- Upload your real logo or photo at the size you actually have, and fill in real details.
- Use both Copy Signature and Download HTML, and note whether the two results look the same once pasted.
- Paste into your mail app by following that app’s own help page. Our guides cover Gmail and Outlook.
- Send a test message to yourself at a Gmail address and an Outlook address, and open both on a phone.
- Switch a device to dark mode and look again. Our piece on email signature dark mode lists what tends to break.
- Tap the phone number, the email address and each social link, and check they go where they should.
- Open the test message again in a week. If the logo has vanished, the image was probably linked, not embedded.
If it passes all seven, you have a perfectly good signature for one person.
LogoAI pricing, read in October 2026
The generator page calls the tool free. The pricing page is for LogoAI’s logo and brand tools, and it does not mention email signatures at all. In US dollars, it lists:
| Plan | Price on the page | What it lists |
|---|---|---|
| 7-Day Trial | $10 | Logo Maker, AI Brand Kit, Logo Animations, Brand Videos, Design Studio, 200 AI Credits |
| Pro | $20 a month | The same tools, with 500 AI Credits a month |
Because the pricing page is silent about the LogoAI email signature generator, we cannot tell you whether it will stay free or be bundled into a plan later. What the generator page says today is “completely free”, and that is the claim to rely on, with a note to check it again before you commit your team to it.
Where the LogoAI email signature generator is the better choice
It would be dishonest to pretend a plugin is better for everyone. LogoAI’s tool wins in these cases:
- You are one person. There is nothing to host, no WordPress, no invitations. You make a signature and copy it.
- You need a logo too. LogoAI describes itself on its pages as an AI logo maker, with a brand kit and a design studio. If your logo does not exist yet, making it and the signature in one place saves a step.
- You want speed. LogoAI promises a signature in 3 seconds. Even if it takes you ten minutes, it will be quicker than setting up software.
- You want the HTML file. Download HTML gives you a file to keep or edit, which suits someone who is comfortable pasting code.
- You want no cost. LogoAI says free.
Where emailfooter fits instead
emailfooter is made by Ulrea as a free plugin for WordPress, under the GPL. It solves a different problem from the LogoAI email signature generator: keeping every signature in a company the same.
One admin sets the look once: ten layouts, 24 colour themes, a logo, up to eight social links and an optional legal footer that staff cannot edit. Each employee then accepts an invitation, fills in only their own details while watching a live preview, and copies the result as a rich signature, as HTML or as plain text. Numbered steps for 16 mail apps tell them where to paste it.
The limits are real. emailfooter does not make logos. It is English only for now. Employees install their own signatures, so nothing is pushed into mailboxes. There is no click analytics, only counts of copies and installs. And it runs on WordPress, or as emailfooter Managed, hosted by us and priced on request.

| Social links | Up to three, per the page | Up to eight, shown as icons or text labels |
| Output | Copy Signature, Download HTML | Copy as rich signature, HTML or plain text |
| Legal footer | No such field listed | Optional footer set by the admin, locked for staff |
| Team control | Not mentioned on the page | Admin design, invitations, phone rules |
| Mail app instructions | Not on the page | Steps for 16 mail apps |

Three imagined cases
These are made-up examples, to show how the choice tends to fall.
A freelance photographer who needs a logo and a signature this week. The LogoAI email signature generator and the logo maker cover both from one site, and the signature is free. A plugin would be overkill.
A 12-person architecture practice that wants the same footer and logo on every email. A single-person generator creates twelve slightly different signatures. A shared, locked design is what the practice is after, so emailfooter fits.
A 60-person company on Microsoft 365 that wants signatures to appear without anyone pasting. Neither tool does that. Look at software built for teams, such as the ones in our guide to the best email signature software for teams.
If the LogoAI email signature generator does what you need, stop there. If you want to compare it with other free tools first, the roundup of best free email signature generators is a good next stop, and the plain guide to a free email signature generator explains what the free tier of any tool usually leaves out.
