The best email signature software for Google Workspace depends on how much control you need. Google’s own Admin console can append a text footer to every message. Anything richer, such as a logo, a phone number per person that updates from your directory, or banners, needs a third-party tool that writes into Gmail or sits in the mail path. This article sorts the options by how they work and what their own pages publish.
We make emailfooter, one of the tools below, so we say where it is the weaker choice. Facts about the other vendors on this best email signature software for Google Workspace list come from their own pages, opened in October 2026, and their user counts and ratings are claims. We did not test any of the products. Prices are the ones each page showed, mostly in US dollars, and can differ by region.
Best email signature software for Google Workspace, in brief
- Free and built in: Google’s Append footer rule adds a text footer that users cannot edit. It is not a designed signature.
- Built for Gmail: SignatureSatori syncs from Google Directory, with a subscription at $1.11 per user a month (minimum 5 users).
- Wider platforms: Exclaimer lists Google Workspace, from $0.90 per user per month billed annually. Letsignit lists Gmail at $2.
- Cards and signatures together: Blinq Business syncs image signatures to Gmail.
- Free, manual: emailfooter, a plugin where each person pastes their own signature.
What Google Workspace does on its own
Google’s help page on signatures describes two things. Admins can add a footer to everyone’s mail under Menu, Apps, Google Workspace, Gmail, Compliance, in the Append footer setting. You click Configure or Add another rule, enter the footer, format it, and save. Google says changes can take up to 24 hours, and users cannot edit or remove the footer. For footer images, it suggests 70 to 100 pixels high by 300 to 400 wide, with a maximum of 100 by 1000.
Users can write their own signatures too, of up to 10,000 characters, with images from Drive (which must be publicly shared), an upload or a web link. The two are separate: a footer does not stop each person editing their own signature above it.
That is enough for a legal line. It is not enough when you want every person’s signature to match, with their own name, title and number filled in from your directory. Our guides to setting a signature for all users in Google Workspace and to Google Workspace email signature management cover the native route.
Here is the kind of matching signature that the best email signature software for Google Workspace aims to produce for everyone, drawn by emailfooter, with a logo and each person’s own details:

SignatureSatori
SignatureSatori is built for Gmail. Its home page describes a signature management tool for Gmail, with a visual editor, templates, assignment of templates to teams, several signatures per user, alias support, Google Analytics links, Canva integration, a campaign planner and domain health checks. It claims 900K+ users and a 4.8 out of 5 rating, which are its figures, with a link to its Google Marketplace listing.
On its pricing page, there are two models, in USD or EUR with VAT excluded. Credits are a one-time purchase at $1.10 each with a minimum of 10: one credit sets or changes one signature for one user, and a used credit holds a 24-hour window for unlimited changes. The subscription is $1.11 per user a month, minimum 5 users, with unlimited changes, a daily sync from Google Directory and a marketing planner. Both come with 5 free credits to try, and a custom quote is offered above 1,000 users and for non-profits and schools.
Choose it when you are Google-only, want directory sync, and prefer a low entry price or pay-per-change credits.
Exclaimer
Exclaimer’s Google Workspace page lists two options. Device deployment shows signatures in Gmail while the user composes, applied by sender or recipient. Cloud deployment imprints them after sending, so Sent Items show what recipients got. It syncs from Google Directory. Its pricing page lists Starter at $0.90, Standard at $1.45 and Pro at $1.75 per user per month, billed annually, with a 14-day trial and a ten-user minimum in its FAQ. Starter has one template and Standard adds targeting rules and banner scheduling.
Choose it when you may later add Microsoft users, need campaigns and reporting, or want a vendor with 24/5 support.
Letsignit
Letsignit lists “Email signatures & vCards” at $2 per user per month, without stating the billing period. Its feature table shows Gmail (native), Google Directory sync, a drag-and-drop designer, campaigns with A/B testing and real-time click tracking. Its integrations page is written around Microsoft, so confirm in a trial how it deploys to Gmail.
Choose it when you want signatures, campaigns and vCards in one tool and may run Microsoft and Google side by side.
Blinq Business
Blinq lists Business at $4.99 per user a month billed yearly, or $6.99 monthly. Its help centre says a Business admin with Google Workspace Super Admin access can sync team signatures to matching Gmail accounts. The sync is one way and affects default signatures for new emails. The signature itself is an image with a link to a card page, and Blinq says the Gmail mobile app only supports plain-text signatures. Our Blinq alternative article compares it with a text signature.
Choose it when you want digital cards and QR sharing along with the signature.
emailfooter
emailfooter is a free WordPress plugin from Ulrea. The admin designs one signature from ten layouts and 24 themes, with an optional locked legal footer, and each person copies it and follows steps for Gmail. Its Gmail guide says the mobile app takes plain text only.

A compact layout drawn by emailfooter. The company and person are made up.
It has no Google sync, no directory connection and no push into Gmail, no click tracking, and is English only for now. It is free to use, and you pay for hosting or take emailfooter Managed, priced on request. Choose it when staff are few and consistency matters more than enforcement.
Gmail checks for the best email signature software for Google Workspace
A few facts from the vendors’ pages shape what you should test in Gmail before you pick the best email signature software for Google Workspace:
- The mobile app is plain text. Blinq’s help page says the Gmail mobile app only supports plain-text signatures, and emailfooter’s own Gmail guide says the same. A designed signature will not appear there whichever tool you use, unless the tool adds it on the server after sending.
- Footers and signatures are separate. Google says a user-created signature is separate from an admin-appended footer. A footer will sit below whatever the user wrote.
- Aliases need thought. SignatureSatori lists several signatures per user with alias support. Ask any other vendor how it treats a user who sends from an alias.
- Images need a public home. Google says images from Drive must be publicly shared. A tool that hosts images for you avoids that, but ask where and for how long.
- Time lags. Google says footer changes can take up to 24 hours. SignatureSatori says its directory sync runs daily, and Exclaimer’s pages describe syncing with Google Directory without giving an interval.
