The problem
Sound familiar?
Nobody sets out to send a messy email. It happens one small thing at a time, and that is why teams start looking for an email signature generator for Nigeria.
The email that mattered
You send the proposal to the client you have chased for months. Underneath it sits two words and a phone number you stopped using last year.
The green font
A colleague’s signature, in a colour that hurts to read, gets forwarded to your biggest prospect with one line: “Is this your company?”

Your logo arrives as an attachment. The client opens it, half expecting a virus, and it is your own logo.
Sent from my iPhone
Half of your replies leave from a phone, where nobody ever set up a signature at all.
The new starter
On day three they ask how to set up a signature. Nobody is quite sure, so they copy whoever sits closest.
The rebrand
You change the logo and the address. Six months later you can still find the old ones in somebody’s emails.
None of this is anyone’s fault. A signature is a small job that belongs to everyone, so in practice it belongs to nobody.
What it quietly costs you
What a messy signature says about you
People decide quickly. Before they reach your second sentence they have noticed your name, your company, your logo and whether any of it looks cared for. A messy signature does not make anyone angry. It just makes them a little less sure.
That doubt is small, and it adds up. A team of twenty easily sends hundreds of emails a week. Each one is a chance to look like a company that has its details together, or one that is still working it out. It is the same for a firm in Lagos and a one-person business in Ibadan.
- The wince when a client forwards your email and you see how it looks from the other side.
- The small panic before you send something important, checking that the number at the bottom still works.
- The dread of a rebrand, because you know you will spend weeks chasing people.
- The awkwardness of asking a senior colleague to fix their signature.
Then there is the time. Every change of title, address or number means asking people one by one, and then checking that they did it. It never quite ends.
Why people look for one
Why people search for an email signature generator for Nigeria
The reasons are different, and each one is a good one.
To look professional
You have a good business and an ordinary signature. You want the bottom of your emails to match the work.
To stop doing it by hand
You are tired of building the same block of text again for every new person, in every new mail app.
To make a whole team match
Not one signature. Twenty, forty or two hundred, all looking like they came from the same place.
After a rebrand or a move
New logo, new address, new number. You need it to reach every inbox without a month of reminders.
Because you just started
A new business needs to look established from the first email, even when it is only you.
For the phone
You want replies from phones and webmail to look as good as the ones from the office computer.
How emailfooter fixes it
Imagine every email from your company ending the same polished way
Open any message from anyone on your team. The same logo, the same colours, the same tidy block of contact details, the phone number written the way it should be. You stop checking. You stop wincing.
Thanks,
alex morgan!!

Both are examples. The company and person are made up.
Proud of every email
The company sets the layout, logo, colours and legal line. People cannot change them, so the look you chose is the look that goes out.
Done in an afternoon
Design it once, invite the team. Each person adds a name, title and number, checks the preview, and follows the steps for their mail app.
Calm when things change
Move office or change a number once, and every signature follows. No chasing, no checking.

Questions people ask
Before you start, you probably want to know
Is there a free email signature generator for Nigeria?
Yes. emailfooter is a free WordPress plugin that works as a email signature generator for Nigeria. You design the signature once and each person adds their own details. You pay for your own hosting, or you can ask about emailfooter Managed, where we host it.
What is an email signature generator?
It builds the block of text and images at the end of your emails: name, title, company, phone, logo and links. A generator saves you from writing the layout by hand. emailfooter goes a step further and keeps one design for a whole company, so everyone matches.
What should a business email signature include?
Your name, your role, the company name, one way to reach you and a website. Add a logo, a photo or a booking link if they help, and a legal line if your company needs one. Keep it short. The complete guide to email signatures goes through each line.
Will it work in Gmail and Outlook?
Yes. The signature is built from simple tables and inline styles, the kind of HTML mail apps keep. Each person gets step-by-step instructions for their own app, including Gmail, Outlook on the web and desktop, Apple Mail and many more.
Will it show up when I reply from my phone?
A signature lives in each mail app, so it has to be set up on the phone too. emailfooter shows the steps for the phone apps as well, so replies from a phone can match the ones from your desk.
Do I need to know HTML?
No. You choose a layout, add your details and colours, and copy the result. Nobody on your team edits code.
Can the whole team use the same signature?
That is the point. The company admin controls the layout, logo, colours and legal footer. Employees edit only their own name, title, phone and photo.
Do I need a WordPress site?
To run the plugin yourself, yes. If you would rather not, emailfooter Managed is the same software hosted for you. Ask for pricing and tell us roughly how many people send email.
Is it really free? What is the catch?
The plugin is free and open source under the GPL, with no licence key and no limits on people or companies. You pay for the things any website needs: hosting, a domain and a way to send email.
How long does it take?
About ten minutes to install and design, then a couple of minutes for each person. The longest part is usually deciding what the legal line should say.

What the law says about business letters. Section 304 of the Companies and Allied Matters Act 2020 lists what a company’s business letters must show: its registered name and registration number, its registered office address, and the names of its directors, with former names and the nationality of any director who is not Nigerian. The source we read talks about letters and does not say whether emails count. Many companies put the same company details in the email signature anyway, and a legal footer is the simplest place for them.
